Delivering profits from structured publishing solutions: Advent 3B2 Conference

Press release from the issuing company

July 23, 2003 -- Advent 3B2, a leader in the development of standards-based publishing software technology, has announced the date and venue for its 2003 conference, "Delivering profits from structured publishing solutions" as the 9th - 11th November at Coral Springs Marriott in Coral Springs, FL. This year's conference program will take place over three days. The first day will be a pre-conference tutorial covering XML and other standards used in structured publishing, hosted by XML expert G. Ken Holman. The following two days will be split into distinct tracks covering business and technology issues. The streaming of the event allows delegates to make the most of their time by choosing sessions and tracks that exactly match their requirements. According to Advent, the program for this year's conference has been carefully constructed to be of interest to both its own Advent 3B2 user base and other corporate and commercial publishers involved in XML and standards-based structured publishing. "Increasingly publishers are becoming aware that the adoption of standards-based, structured publishing software technologies offers significant advantages in terms of speeding up product delivery, reducing overhead and, most importantly, growing profits," said Michael O'Neill, Advent 3B2's Sales and Marketing Director."However, a huge gap remains in the knowledge base. It is our hope that by opening up our conference to delegates beyond our user base, we can provide an opportunity for those exploring the technology to hear from independent industry experts and talk to companies that are already using the technology."
