Quad/Graphics Awarded 5 Year Prepress Contract Renewal By AMG

SUSSEX, Wis.--July 1, 2003-- Publisher of Vogue, Architectural Digest, Glamour, Vanity Fair, W, Golf Digest and Other Popular Magazines Rewards Quad/Imaging for Superior Performance and Service.
Quad/Graphics has earned a five-year contract renewal from the Advance Magazine Group, which includes Conde Nast Publications, Fairchild Publications, the Golf Digest Companies, and other companies. The new contract calls for Quad/Graphics' nationwide Quad/Imaging network to continue prepping 13 of Advance's magazine titles plus an additional 10 magazine titles the publisher is moving to Quad from other prep houses.

Other factors that led the Advance Magazine Group to extend and expand its relationship with Quad/Graphics, according to Mr. Orlin, are the company's service, cost efficiencies, scheduling, turnaround times, seamless prepress facility network (SiteSync), Theory of Constraints management systems, ISO-9000 certification and continuous process-improvement procedures.
