Irving, Texas - June 2007: Ussery Printing Company has earned Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody certification.

The FSC is an international non-profit organization whose membership includes representatives from environmental and social groups, the timber trade and the forestry profession, indigenous people’s organizations, community forestry groups and forest product certification organizations from around the world. “Achieving FSC certification demonstrates our dedication to sustaining the environment, and also gives our customers a way to show their corporate responsibility by specifying FSC certified paper,” said Fran Ussery, President of Ussery Printing Company.

FSC certified forests are responsibly managed according to set standards. The goal is to improve forest conservation and reduce deforestation. The FSC certification indicates that the wood product is verified and tracked through its various stages and into its final state according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.
