June 3, 2003 -- Alexandria, VA -- Preparations are well underway for the Print Solutions 2003 Conference & Expo, to be held in the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Las Vegas Hilton, October 22-24, 2003. The Document Management Industries Association (DMIA) sponsors the Conference & Expo, the 58th consecutive annual get-together of the independent segment of the business printing industry. Formerly called Informservices, the name of DMIA’s annual conference and trade show has been changed to Print Solutions Conference & Expo. Debbie Ayres, CPSS, Vice President of Marketing for DMIA said, "We think the name change makes sense, particularly for prospects who may not be all that familiar with the industry. The new brand now says exactly what the show delivers and what the prospective attendee can expect for the price of admission." It also links the top industry show with the top industry magazine, Print Solutions. The independent segment of the document industry, formed by the supplier/manufacturer/distributor supply chain, controls over one half of the manufacture and distribution of documents and related services worldwide. DMIA represents all elements of the supply chain equally.
