X-Rite Receives U.S. President's E Award for Exporting

GRANDVILLE, Mich.--May 20, 2003-- X-Rite, Incorporated, a leading global provider of technology solutions measuring color, light, and shape, is receiving the President of the United States "E" Award today for excellence in exporting. X-Rite honors this award with an international theme celebration at its headquarters in Grandville, Michigan. Delivering the award will be Mr. Stephen Wasylko, Senior Commercial Officer, American Embassy in Moscow, Russia.
"Awarding the Presidential "E" award to X-Rite is a testament to the company's strategic vision and business acumen," says Tom Maguire, Manager, Grand Rapids U.S. Export Assistance Center, U.S. Department of Commerce. "It also highlights the importance of exporting for growing sales and producing job stability in our community."
The "E" Award is presented by the Office of the President of the United States in recognition of outstanding export success. It was created by President John F. Kennedy's Executive Order in 1961 to afford suitable recognition to persons, firms, or organizations that contribute significantly in the effort to increase U.S. exports.
