Itasca, Ill., May 16, 2003 - Xeikon America, leading provider of production digital color printing systems, today proudly announced that two of its customers won first prize in the seventh edition of Xeikon's prestigious International Diamond Awards contest. Both companies will receive a real, Antwerp-cut diamond in recognition of their achievement. Gagne Wallcovering, Clearwater, Fla., won first prize in the category "Unique Xeikon Features" with a line of pre-pasted, vinyl wallpaper murals, featuring artwork images. The wallpaper is produced on a Xeikon DCP 500 D in custom formats up to 18" wide.  The wallpaper murals are marketed through several national distribution programs. "It is nice to see business success and quality printing recognized by an international jury." Six Headed Monster, Dallas, won the Xeikon Diamond Award for "Self Promotion." The company specializes in full-color, custom-made promotional packaging and point-of-purchase signs. The winning application was a personalized, promotional fold-out mailing box produced on the Xeikon DCP 500 SP.
