FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.---Jan. 14, 2003--BCT International, Inc. today announced its results for the nine months ended November 30, 2002. For the nine months ended November 30, 2002, revenues increased 3% to $14.1 million, compared with revenues of $13.7 million in the first nine months of the previous fiscal year. Net income decreased 6% to $535,000 or $.10 per diluted share versus net income of $567,000; or $.11 per diluted share, in the first nine months of the previous fiscal year. In the quarter ended November 30, 2002, the Company's revenues increased $452,000 to $4.8 million, and net income totaled $118,000, or $.02 per diluted share. This compared with revenues of $4.4 million and net income of $291,000, or $.06 per diluted share, in the third quarter of the previous fiscal year. Revenues increased in fiscal 2003 due to the Company's operation of two Company-owned franchises, San Carlos, California, which opened in July 2002 succeeding the San Francisco franchise and Tampa, Florida, which the Company began operating in September 2002. BCT International, Inc. is a holding company which, through its paper products division and its Business Cards Tomorrow franchises, operates the Business Cards Tomorrow wholesale printing chain.
