Dana Consulting, a company specializing in helping printers and print buyers communicate, and PINE, the Printing Industries of New England, are co-sponsoring a print buyer panel discussion and networking event called “Straight from the Heart: Print Customers Speak Out,” from 6 - 9 pm on Tuesday, February 11, at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Waltham, MA.
Margie Dana, president of Dana Consulting, will moderate a 90-minute panel discussion. Ms. Dana is a former corporate print buyer who founded her firm in 1997 to promote effective communication between printers and their customers.
Print customers and members of the printing industry are all welcome.
Panelists include Jill Alex Connolly of Analog Devices, Wendy Howard of New York Life Insurance, Janice Dottin of New Leaf Studios, former sales rep turned professional buyer Beth Callahan, and Chris Mitchell, independent graphic designer and Design Director for Boston-based Right Angle Group.
The distinguished panel of buyers and designers will discuss a wide range of critical issues faced by today’s print customers. Ms. Dana will compile the questions for discussion. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions as well.
“Bringing printers and print customers together, where they can learn from one another, is important,” says Ms. Dana. Our goal is to provide this opportunity for New England buyers and printers. This will be a networking experience and an educational one. PINE and I recognize the value of improving the business relationship between these two groups and hope to make this a regular event. It will benefit both printers and their customers.”
