Press release from the issuing company

CHESTNUT HILL, MASS -- May 30, 2007 -- Boston Print Buyers, a Division of Print Buyers International, LLC, today announced they will be producing the 2nd Annual Print Buyers Conference on November 7 and 8th at the Westford Regency Inn & Conference Center in Westford, Massachusetts. Last year's conference attracted 345 people from all over New England, as well as the US, including Texas, California, New York and Illinois -- as well as the UK. This year's event has been expanded to two days to allow for expanded educational sessions and additional networking time in the exhibit hall. Content-Rich Conference This international print buyers conference is known for its rich and comprehensive educational content. This year, there will be 20 educational sessions held over two days, to give today's print customers the information they need about new trends and technologies. All educational programming has been developed by PBI founder Margie Dana in consultation with several of the industry’s leading experts. Some of the topics to be covered at the conference include: - Digital printing - VDP (variable data printing) - New postal regulations - Negotiating skills for print buyers - Cross media campaigns - The status of the print industry: an economic perspective - Proofing - what's available, and what's the difference? - Perfect PDFs - Pantone colors and how they impact fashion Dinner Keynote by Frank Romano and Dr. Joe Webb A special highlight of this year's conference will be the November 7th keynote dinner address, to be co-delivered by industry giants Frank Romano and Dr. Joe Webb. Romano is the well-known author, educator, industry guru, world-class speaker, and friend to every print customer. He delivered the keynote address at the first annual print buyer's conference held in November 2006. Webb, affectionately known as "Dr. Doom," is one of the printing industry's most highly regarded economists, consultants, forecasters, and commentators. American Printing Idol Award New this year is an award known as the "American Printing Idol." Upon registration, every conference attendee will be invited to nominate a printer of his or her choice for this elite award, which will be presented during the conference. Certain contest rules will apply. Three Major Panels Three different panel discussions will take center stage at this year's conference: - The Print Buyer Panel, moderated by Margie Dana, will showcase four print customers representing different industries; - The Paper Panel will feature experts in paper as well as paper specifiers, and it will cover a range of critical topics and trends; - The Town Hall Session will be the conference's grand finale, as many of the event's speakers will take center stage in the ballroom -- and questions from the audience. Prizes will be awarded. Exhibit Hall as Centerpiece This year, the venue's full ballroom, which will accommodate 39 booths, has been reserved exclusively for exhibitors. The conference schedule includes dedicated blocks of time for attendees to spend with the exhibitors. Numerous sponsorship opportunities are also available to firms in the graphic arts who serve print and media buyers. From the PBI Founder "We're delighted that Boston Print Buyers will be producing the 2nd annual print buyers conference," noted PBI founder Margie Dana. “Building on our success in 2006, plus our increasing visibility in the graphic arts industry since that time, we have no doubt that this conference will be even better -- not only for attendees who are seeking educational information about printing and related graphic arts, but also for our exhibitors and sponsors who want to mingle with senior-level print and paper buyers from all over the globe.” About Boston Print Buyers Boston Print Buyers (BPB) is a Division of Print Buyers International (PBI), LLC.
