ANN ARBOR, MI (16-Dec-02) – Flint Ink has announced several organization changes within its North American operations. Bill Miller has been named President of Flint Ink North America. A veteran of the printing and ink industries Miller was previously vice president and general manager of the company’s North American Publication division. He replaces Paul Schroeder who stepped down in November. Susan Kuchta has been promoted to vice president and general manager of the North American Publication and Commercial Ink division. She was previously vice president of sales for the division. Jim Bennett, who formerly headed the commercial group, is working with Flint-Schmidt, the company’s European business unit, to complete integration of its operations following the merger of Gebrüder Schmidt and Flint Ink Europe last May. Paul Howes, former vice president and general manager of Flint Ink’s North American Packaging Group has left Flint Ink to take a position as president and CEO of Astaris, LLC. The packaging division will report directly to Bill Miller until a new general manager is named early in 2003.
