Bellwood, IL, November 04, 2002—Belcom North America Group LLC is opening its doors to their new, state-of-the-art Technical Center. This Technical Center will be the central location for hands-on demonstrations, training, technical support services and testing. Belcom sells and services primarily the BEL2000, a Flatbed Digital Ink Jet Printer that uses non-toxic, water-based inks on a variety of substrates. The BEL2000 is the only printer of its kind in the world: economical, robust and efficient for short-run production cycles. Using Aprion Digital developed M.A.G.I.C. (Multiple Array Graphic Ink Jet Color) technology, the BEL2000 can deliver crisp color that is light-fast, water and abrasion resistant on media up to 63" x 102." The Technical Center will be utilized for training, demonstrations, sample-making, classes, seminars, meetings and much more for the Digital Packaging and Display Industry. Belcom will also display other digital products from Esko-Graphics featuring the DCM 22 Digital Diecutter and VIP Color’s VP2020 Ink Jet Color Labeling Machines. Demonstrations will be held for all attending guests, as well as tours, information, samples and refreshments.
