LSI specializes in badging solutions, badging supplies, binding services and laminating services. The company’s new Tigra produces high quality books, thanks to its side gluing capabilities, a feature that’s usually found only on high-volume perfect binding systems. The system can produce up to 3,600 books per hour. Tigra’s integrated gatherer accommodates a wide range of sizes and features Automatic Self Adjusting Caliper (ASAC) to speed adjustment between jobs. Makeready is further expedited by a PLC control system that guides the operator from task-to-task via menu driven controls. It has a self-diagnostic capability that spots makeready errors before they become problems. In addition to its perfect binding capabilities, LSI offers saddle stitching, spiral and wire binding and fastback binding.
