Labelexpo Proves to be Success for Tailored Solutions
Press release from the issuing company
September 17, 2002 -- While the final attendance records haven’t been announced, Tailored Solutions, Inc, developer of "best in class" job management software for the flexo industry, stated today that this year’s Labelexpo America’s show was their most successful to date. The show, which ran from September 10-12 at the Rosemont Convention Center, set the stage for the unveiling of Tailored Solutions newest version of it’s flagship product, Label Traxx 3.3.
"The amount of traffic that we encountered at the show certainly proves to us that we’re on the right track in our thinking" stated Ken Meinhardt, Tailored Solutions founder and president. "Printer’s are looking for real, practical solutions, and aren’t buying into a lot of hype and vaporware. They want answers from the people developing, supporting and using the product, not from spokespeople."
Meinhardt said that in addition to the high volumes of prospective buyers appearing at the booth, there were also many printers already using the Label Traxx product stopping by, to get a sneak peek at innovative enhancements to the software, and to assist potential buyers.
"When our customers take time out of their show experience to stop, and tell potential buyers about how we’ve helped them…well, it’s extremely gratifying" said Label Traxx sales manager Dorothy Asboth. "They’re truly our best salespeople."
Tailored Solutions customers seem to also appreciate the relationship.
"I have told my employees that I consider Tailored Solutions to be a partner, not a vendor" said Betty Byers of Datamark Graphics – a flexo shop in North Carolina. "Label Traxx has literally changed our company and our lives."
In addition to showing off standard Label Traxx functionality such at estimating, order entry, stock products, and a suite of integrated accounting tools, Tailored Solutions also featured new enhancements. New to Label Traxx 3.3 are Activity Based Costing methodology tools, a new Executive Trends display, Sales Budgeting features, and e-Traxx - a true e-commerce interface. With e-Traxx, a printer’s customer can request and view quotes, check shipments, inventory levels, product lists, and order status.
"Many of our competitors are just starting to get caught up with what we’ve done in the last few years." said Meinhardt, a 18 yr veteran of the flexo industry. "But we keep moving, with powerful, innovative functionality, that works for this industry. When our (the flexo) industry faces new challenges, we look for a solution."
Label Traxx remains the innovation leader in flexographic management software. It handles projects from estimating to job costing and accounting and has a Stock Product Module for management and distribution of finished goods. It allows companies to manage all aspects of their business, from estimating through accounting. Label Traxx easily tracks customer/prospect histories by unlimited criteria, locates tooling information, checks roll stock availability, creates multi-press tickets for complex jobs, seamlessly converts estimates to orders and accurately collects shop floor data to analyze the cost of producing jobs. Label Traxx translates into improved service for customers, increased efficiency and better communication across all departments.
