MILWAUKEE – Visual Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of book components, overhead transparencies and ancillary products for educational and supplemental textbooks, has received numerous awards in the Gold Ink Awards competition. The company’s "Write Time for Kids," an on-demand overhead transparency product, was also honored. Visual Systems was also recognized for its "Elements of Writing, Fourth Edition," a softbound book cover printed for Holt, Rinehart and Winston; and "Science Grade 2 Transparencies," a four-color overhead transparency program in a printed envelope for McGraw Hill School Division. "It’s an honor to be one of the few recipients of a Gold Ink Award this year," said Brad Brogan, national sales manager for Visual Systems. "As a winner, we’ve become a member of an elite group of the most respected and influential printers in the United States." More than 1,800 entries were submitted in 40 categories for this year’s Gold Ink Awards. Visual Systems will be recognized for its achievements during the Annual Gold Ink Awards Banquet, held October 7, 2002 in Chicago.
