Pittsburgh, Pa., July 23, 2002 — Howard "Howie" Fenton, a nationally known author, trainer, consultant, and speaker on digital technologies in the graphic arts field, is the latest to join PIA/GATF Solutions OnSite as an independent consultant. Operating under DTP Ink (DeskTop Prepress for Print) in Thornton, Colorado, Fenton specializes in digital prepress production methods, techniques, and equipment. His areas of expertise includes streamlining prepress production focusing on workflow management, preflight problems, color management, implementing process control / inspection procedures, on-demand printing equipment and management, computer-to-plate technologies, new product market research and justification, equipment feasibility analysis, and cost justification. An active writer, Fenton publishes Digital Technology.
