PALM SPRINGS, CA - March 25 2002, Four new officers and four new directors will join Immediate Past Chairman Gordon Brown and those completing their terms of service on the Board of Directors of the Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI) for 2002-03. Announcement of DPI’s 2002-03 executive roster was made at the Association’s tenth Annual Conference & Exhibit, held here at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, California, March 6-9, 2002. DPI’s new officers are: Chairman of the Board David Atkins of Custom Color Corp. (Kansas City, MO); Vice Chairman Peter Gallo of Vista Color Lab, Inc. (Cleveland, OH); Treasurer George Conant of Meisel Visual Imaging (Dallas, TX); and Secretary Rak Kumar of Oce Display Graphics Systems (San Jose, CA). DPI’s Immediate Past Chairman of the Board Gordon Brown is with Lowen Color Graphics (Hutchinson, KS). Elected to new terms on the DPI Board of Directors are three Active members (technology users) (two for a full three-year term, and one for a one-year term) and one Associate Member (suppliers) for a three year term. New Directors are: Supplier Director – 3 Year Term Jeff Notto, 3M Commercial Graphics Division, St. Paul, MN Printer Directors – 3 Year Term Lynn Krinsky, Stella Color, Seattle, WA Gary Wolfer, Gregory Inc., Buhler, KS Printer Director – 1 Year Term Wayne Boydstun, ProGrafix International, Inc., Layton, UT Also continuing on the Board with partial terms remaining are: Gordon Brown, Lowen Color Graphics, (Hutchinson, KS); Brian Franks (GBC Films Group, Addison, IL); Mark Hanley (IT Strategies, Hanover, MA); and Ken Olson (Olson Photo Associates, Anaheim, CA). Eric Henry (TS Designs, Burlington, NC) continues as Ex-Officio Board Member in his capacity representing SGIA International. Mike Robertson serves as the new Ex-Officio Board Member in his capacity as President of DPI; DPI Managing Director John Shaw is Staff Liaison to the Board.
