Moore Elects Joan D. Manley As Board Member

TORONTO & STAMFORD, Conn.--March 7, 2002--Robert G. Burton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moore Corporation Limited announced that the Board of Directors has elected Joan D. Manley to the Board. Ms. Manley is a former Group Vice President and former Director of Time Incorporated. Ms. Manley replaces Newton N. Minow, who is retiring from the Board. Robert G. Burton, President & CEO stated: "I want to welcome Joan Manley to the Board of Directors. She is an experienced Board member with a comprehensive background in the printing and publishing industry. I expect that Joan will add immediate value to the Board and I am looking forward to her contributions to the company.'' Burton added: "Ms. Manley joins our board, filling the vacancy of Newton Minow who is stepping down from the Board to spend time on more personal endeavors.
