Creo Users Conference: Brisque Users Get to Talk with Workflow Developers

Press release from the issuing company

VANCOUVER, B.C., CANADA - (February 26 2002) - The Creo Users Association (CUA) features a new opportunity for users of Brisque workflow to meet the developers of the prepress product they work with everyday. For the first time, the Brisque Advisory Council annual meeting has been scheduled with the annual Creo Users conference to enhance the program and provide more value for delegates who plan to attend both events this year. The Brisque Advisory Council meeting is the ideal venue to ask the technical nitty-gritty questions only the software developers can answer, says Rich Dunklee, Prepress Manager at HBP, Inc. of Hagerstown, Maryland. "This year's CUA conference provides an excellent opportunity for professional development, particularly for Brisque workflow users," says Rich. "I'm a hardcore Brisque workflow user and last year I was skeptical of how much I would get out of attending the CUA conference. But I received a great deal of value out of the programs I took part in." Dunklee, a director of the Creo Users Association, says the conference provides excellent value for delegates. "This is the year to join and go," he says. There is no charge to attend the Brisque Advisory Council meeting which takes place on Saturday May 4 at the same time as programs for users of Prinergy(r) and iMPAct workflow products. These programs will be held at the Creo headquarters in Burnaby, just outside Vancouver. The annual users conference, scheduled in Vancouver, Canada, May 1-4, features expert speakers, hands-on opportunities and vendor sessions of interest to users of all Creo products, including image capture systems; inkjet proofers; thermal imaging devices for films, plates and proofs; professional color and copydot scanning systems; and creative and workflow management software. Creo also supplies on-press imaging technology, components for digital presses, and color servers for high-speed, print-on-demand digital printers. Only members of the Creo Users Association are eligible to attend the CUA conference although all users of Creo systems are entitled to join the association without charge by registering for membership at www.creousers.org. The fee to attend the CUA conference is US$650 per delegate, which includes the program at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Vancouver, all meals including breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner, and transportation to and from program-related events. All hotel accommodation must be booked through the CUA rooming list to ensure the negotiated rate. Spouses of members may attend evening events for a fee of US$250.
