LDR International Installs 2nd Itoh Cutter at Warren Industries

Press release from the issuing company

PORTLAND, OR - February 8, 2002 -- LDR International today announced installation of a 2nd Itoh paper cutter at Warren Industries in Wisconsin. Warren Industries, headquartered in Racine, Wisconsin, had older paper cutters on their finishing room floor when they contacted LDR International last year to buy a new one. They were interested in improving productivity in their cutting department. LDR International provided a proposal through Best Graphics, a dealer working with LDR International in the Midwest, to install a Itoh RC-DX (Robocut Series) model 115 paper cutter in March, 2001, on a trial basis. After discovering an increase in productivity of over 50% using the new Itoh cutter, they decided to purchase another. This is Warren Industries' second Itoh RC-DX model 115 paper cutter installed to date. Warren Industries specializes in the production of game cards for popular U.S. manufactured board games. The Itoh RC-DX Robocut series of paper cutters feature a double-ended knife pull for even cuts, variable clamping pressure, linear motion guide for smooth movement, and shear bolts for protection. The model 115 has a cutting width of 46", a clamp opening of 6-1/2", and cutting depth of 45-5/8". With built-in microcomputer, it can store 3000 pages in memory (100 courses of 30 pages each). This microcomputer is also capable of memorizing different jobs in a single course. The Robocut Series comes if 4 sizes (based on cutting width): 40-1/2" (model 110), 46" (model 115), 54" (model 137), and 63" (model 160).
