Kugler-Womako Reinforces Market Presence in India

Hamburg, Germany; February 7, 2002 -- Kugler-Womako, one of the companies in Koerber PaperLink GmbH, has sold its first wire binding machine Type HS 542 S to India. It was bought by Navneet Publications Ltd., a printing and paper processing company located in Bombay. Initially, the company will use the machine primarily for calendar and stationery production. The machine is the very first automatic wire binding machine ever sold to India. Navneet has already acquired a number of machines from Koerber PaperLink: A writing pad machine Type 317, a pad line Type 360 and a punching machine Type 340-2 from Kugler-Womako. There are also an exercise book line 280, a 280 LL and a LB 70 from E.C.H. Will in use. "The machines we purchased from Koerber PaperLink always prove a very high quality standard" explains Bipin Gala, President (Projects) of Navneet. "We clearly assume, that the new HS 542 S will also meet our expectations and we will realize Navneet's future investments with more machinery from Koerber PaperLink ", added Mr Gala. "We are delighted to be able to enhance our business relationship with Navneet through the installation of the HS 542 S. India is a market with great potential for growth. The HS 542 is a universal wire binding machine designed for the stationery production and book binding industry. One of the outstanding features of the HS 542 is its flexibility as, fitted with the almost unlimited number of different inserters available, it can be adapted to an impressive range of individual requirements. This enables the customer to adapt the machine easily and individually to their specific requirements.
