Kodak Appoints Karel Czanderna to Lead Corporate Inkjet Business Strategy

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--Jan. 15, 2002--Eastman Kodak Company today announced the appointment of Karel Czanderna as Director of Corporate Inkjet Business Strategy and vice president of Kodak, a new position reporting to James C. Stoffel, Chief Technical Officer and a senior vice president of the company.
In her new position, she will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated inkjet strategy, including alliances and new business opportunities, across all Kodak businesses worldwide. Karel will perform a significant role for the corporation by aligning and driving a leveraged corporate inkjet business strategy.
Czanderna, 45, is currently General Manager of Output Systems for Kodak Professional and a vice president of Kodak. In that capacity, she led the company's wide-format inkjet business to rapid growth, including the acquisition of ENCAD, Inc.
