European Ink Jet Developers Conference 2002 Set for Amsterdam

Press release from the issuing company

IMI, the leading conference and seminar group serving the digital printing industry, announces the first Ink Jet Printing Developers Conference in Europe. The Ink Jet Developers Conference 2002 will take place from 15-17 May 2002 at the Radisson SAS hotel at Amsterdam airport and follows the success of a similar event held in Scottsdale, Arizona in the US last year. This conference offers current and potential ink jet printing system developers, integrators and users the opportunity to obtain detailed technical information and establish professional working relationships with base ink jet printing technology providers. Ink jet technology providers of printheads, inks, media and instrumentation will be exhibiting their products and presenting their technology during the event. Several companies have already reserved space at the conference and IMI expects a total of 20 technology providers to exhibit. American Ink Jet Corporation participated at the event in the US last year and was the first to sign up to the European event. Steve Emery, Vice President, Sales & Marketing said, " We found this to be a very well worthwhile event last year. We were able to meet potential customers in a much more relaxed atmosphere than a trade show." The Ink Jet Developers Conference offers a unique opportunity to review and evaluate ink jet printing technology options in a cost effective and timely manner – the registration rate for attendees is £295 (Euro 475). In addition IMI is preceding the Ink Jet Developers Conference 2002 with its highly successful Ink Jet Academy course on the 13-14 May 2002. The Academy offers an intensive overview of ink jet printing technologies, printhead designs, materials for ink jet inks, media, instrumentation and system design issues. Previous attendees include marketing, sales and technical staff from just about every company in the digital printing industry – over 900 so far.
