New features in TrapWise 3.5 include the ability to import, trap, and output Adobe PDF 1.4 files; support for trapping transparent PDF 1.4 objects; improved support for opaque inks; and new hot folder-based automation capabilities. The new TrapWise 3.5 grayscale previewer can also mark 8-bit images, and transparent objects in green. Improved support for opaque inks in TrapWise 3.5 gives the user unmatched flexibility when trapping metallic inks such as gold and silver, and other specialty inks.
