Madison Bolsters Midwest Sales Office

NORWALK, CT, December 6, 2001 – Madison International Sales Company has announced the addition of three highly experienced sales executives to be located in their Midwest sales office in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Helena (Henna) Koivisto has been appointed Sales Director reporting to Mark Odgers, Madison's Vice President of International Sales, and will promote the entire range of products represented by Madison International Sales Company. In addition, two new account managers, Richard Meyer and John McDonough will report to Craig Nelson, Madison's Vice President of Sales for the Midwest Region. Both will be responsible for promoting the new lightweight coated #5 product that will be manufactured at the Madison Paper Company mill in Alsip, Illinois, starting in the first quarter of 2002. McDonough, who also has the responsibility of managing Alsip's newsprint sales through the transition period to coated paper, was previously with EMC, FSC Paper, Bowater and Consolidated. Meyer was previously with Blandin and Bowater, and Koivisto was with UPM-Kymmene, Madden and Finnpap. Their careers in the paper industry average nineteen years. Serving customers from its headquarters in Norwalk, CT, as well as offices in Elk Grove Village, Illinois and Montreal, Canada, Madison International Sales Company is a leader in supplying and servicing the paper needs of the North American market.
