Heidelberg Hosts Four Short-run Color Printing Seminars Around the U.S.
Heidelberg USA will open its doors during the months of January, February, March and April, when it will be hosting four Short-run Color Printing Seminars at its four Tech Centers. The seminars will offer print shop owners and operators the opportunity to participate in demonstrations and learn more about quality printing by bringing them up to speed with the latest developments in the field.
The seminars will cover many press room details , including information about ink tacks and how to apply them to a press, learning how fountain solutions affect the printing process as well as pointers on which blanket to choose for a press and how to use a densitometer. Other topics discussed at the events will include the current situation of the printing market, 4-color process printing on a common blanket press as well as on a unitized press and a practical demonstration of 4-color process printing on the QM 46-2.
As the print media's partner in the print industry, Heidelberg offers these seminars as a means of helping printers succeed in a tight economy, and short-run color can be a key to their success. Printers attending the seminars will gain a first-hand look at the latest in short-run color printing and learn how Heidelberg short-run color can improve performance and profitability.
