Share Knowledge, printCafe Launches Online Customer Forums

Press release from the issuing company

PITTSBURGH, PA (November 12, 2001) - printCafe(TM), the operating system for print, recently unveiled new online discussion forums that invite printCafe customers to share knowledge with one another every day of the year. The printCafe Customer Forums are accessible via printCafe's secure, clients-only Customer Xchange site at http://customer.printcafe.com. Once inside the Customer Forum sections of the printCafe Customer Xchange site, customers may post or read questions and advice, attach files, get ideas, or discuss the challenges they face in operating and growing their businesses. The Customer Forums include discussions of printCafe's suite of print management systems and Web-based procurement solutions, including printCafe Hagen OA, Logic, PSI and Prograph print management systems, PrinterSite, Auto-Count and PrintFlow products for printers, and EnterpriseSite, FastTrack, and Proteus products for print buyers. While the primary goal of the Customer Forums is to encourage the exchange of information among customers, visitors are also invited to share ideas with the printCafe development and support staff via "Suggestion Boxes." Members of the printCafe team will monitor the Forums to ensure accurate information, provide system tips, and post product/company announcements. The Customer Forums are not a replacement for technical service, however. printCafe will continue to provide direct telephone and email resources for customers with technical questions in need of system support. "printCafe is proud to serve over 8,000 printing facilities and print buyers world-wide who are well-informed and inquisitive about growing their businesses and staying on top of changes in the industry," said Bob Bierwagen, vice president of print management products and client services for printCafe. "The experience of gathering customers together for our annual Connect user conferences has shown us the value of bringing folks together to share their knowledge and experience. We're looking forward to developing new products and enhancements based on the ideas that flow from these Customer Forums."
