Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) has reorganized its Corporate Communications section. Since early November, the three departments Trade Press, Business Press and Internal Communications have reported directly to the Chairman of the Management Board, Bernhard Schreier. The aim of the reorganization is to ensure that the different sectors of the public worldwide are provided with standardized statements and concepts. The direct link to the Management Board will also simplify the processes involved and accelerate response times.
Dr. Eva-Maria Rakob (40) has been in charge of Internal Communications since November 1. Internal Communications has the task of providing comprehensive information to all 26,000 Heidelberg personnel worldwide via a range of vehicles including the staff magazine and electronic media. Hans-Dieter Siegfried (52) and his team handle the international press relations for the Group and represent the link to the Marketing section. Thomas Fichtl (31) remains the Company's press spokesman and point of contact for the daily / business press, radio and TV, and coordinates financial communications in the media.
