November 5, 2001 – Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, presented Cindy Johnson, supervisor of Output Management for Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, with it’s "Chairman’s Award," which recognizes an individual for a lifetime of contribution to Xplor and the document systems industry. Johnson accepted the award during a special banquet during Xplor’s Global Electronic Document Systems Conference held recently in Orlando, Florida. Johnson is well known in the document industry. She has served as vice-chair of Xplor’s board of directors, was the founder of the Xplor Columbia-Willamette chapter, and served on a variety of councils and planning committees. "Cindy is very deserving of this award," comment Kevin Craine, OutputLinks columnist and long-time Xplor member. "Her dedication to the document industry is phenomenal, and her enthusiasm and support of Xplor is unparalleled. She sets the bar very high for future recipients of the award." Xplor International’s 23rd Global Conference will be held October 27 – November 1, 2002 in Anaheim, California.
