The NURFLEX(TM) range of flex substrates is now available in widths from 1.5 to 5 meters (4'11" to 16'5") for producing high quality results on the full range of NUR Salsa(TM), NUR Blueboard(TM) and NUR Fresco(TM) printers, as well as on other wide and superwide format digital printers that use drop-on-demand technology. Each substrate in the NURFLEX range offers a solution for specific wide-format or superwide digital printing applications. In addition, NMS adds value to its substrate offerings through its quality control and compatibility testing processes, warranties, and applications support. The NURFLEX portfolio can now be broken down as follows: NURFLEX iSpeed: This new addition to the NURFLEX range is designed specifically to provide vibrant colors in high speed wide-format digital printing. The iSpeed sign face media is extremely receptive to solvent-based inks thereby enabling the production of prints with high quality solids without consuming large volumes of ink. This receptiveness to solvent based inks also enables the digital printer to produce a wide variety of high quality tinted elements and gradients with considerably less banding than on other materials. In addition, dot gain can easily be controlled resulting in enhanced image sharpness. The overall result with NURFLEX iSpeed media is better image quality in high speed printing modes. NUR Media Solutions warrants the printability on NURFLEX iSpeed material and the outdoor durability on graphics produced with NURFLEX iSpeed Frontlit Light and NURFLEX iSpeed Backlit without any special coating or lamination for 12 months as detailed and subject to the conditions of the NURFLEX iSpeed Warranty. An innovative addition to the iSpeed range is a new substrate that employs a hook and loop fastener tape that allows for a super-fast installation time of just a few minutes. This means the substrate can be easily removed and reapplied in another location.
