Kodey Promoted in PIA Economic Research Department

ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA (October 24, 2001) – Dr. Ron Davis, Ph.D., chief economist for the Printing Industries of America (PIA), Incorporated, announced the promotion of Steve Kodey from research assistant to manager of economic and market research. The promotion is effective November 1. Kodey is responsible for developing and maintaining data on the graphic arts industry, analyzing trends, and preparing a variety of written economic reports. Kodey joined PIA in May 2000, assisting Davis and other department staff in conducting research on print market trends, publishing PIA’s annual Ratios reports, and the highly regarded Print Market Atlas: The Complete Reference Guide to Current Market Trends. Kodey recently contributed to bi-weekly economic reports in response to the September 11th tragedies and their consequent influence on market trends. A summa cum laude graduate of Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in Pomona with a bachelors degree in Economics, Kodey will be pursuing gradate studies in Economics and Business at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, in the spring of 2002. A native of Toms River, New Jersey, Kodey now resides in Alexandria.
