Extensive testing at the Presstek DI Center in Mühlheim am Main, Germany persuaded the print masters of Straub Druck. "We wanted to check out the capabilities of the Presstek 52DI press over a range of print jobs, to verify the accuracy of the manufacturer's specifications," continues Francisco Martinez. "We started with a four color job with FM screening, followed by a single color job, and then a change to spot colors. Each job had a different print size and media, and the Presstek 52DI passed the challenging examination with superb results." The Presstek DI combines the quality, consistency, and flexibility of a traditional offset press with the quick turnaround and ease of use of a digital printing device.
