MAASTRICHT, The Netherlands- Sept. 20, 2001-- Indigo N.V., a leader in digital color printing systems, has announced the appointment of Rick Mangold to the new position of General Manager, Indigo America. Indigo has also announced that Ron Kukla will succeed Mr. Mangold as Vice President of Sales for Indigo America.

During the past two years, since joining Indigo as Vice President of Sales, Rick has virtually doubled the size of our sales force - and more than doubled our sales. Now we are looking to Rick to bring this impressive track record and outstanding performance to our entire North American operations,'' said Rafi Maor, President and Chief Operating Officer of Indigo.
Mr. Maor added, "Ron Kukla, as Central Region Manager, turned his region into one of our most successful, with the largest installed base of Indigo digital presses in North America. Now he will be able to extend his leadership to our entire North American sales operations.''
Rick Mangold joined Indigo as Vice President of Sales in 1999. Prior to that, he was President of U.S. Operations for Purup-Eskofot, a graphic arts imaging systems manufacturer, where he also held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. A 17-year veteran of Agfa, where he held numerous positions in sales & marketing management, Mr. Mangold brings over two decades of management experience to Indigo's top position in North America.
Ron Kukla, who joined Indigo America in 1997, has been serving as Central Region Sales Manager since 1998. Covering the entire Midwest and Eastern Canada, the Central Region is Indigo's largest sales territory. Mr. Kukla joined Indigo after a 12-year career with A.B. Dick, where most recently he held the position of National Sales Manager.
