M@estro is T/R Systems' software application for directing document workflow, managing document distribution, cluster printing and administering network-connected devices. The Xerox version of M@estro also leverages TRue Connect technology, which enables print engines to support production-level clustering and advanced device management. "Through M@estro, T/R Systems has created an innovative solution to many of the problems facing organizations of all sizes; `How do I distribute documents efficiently, print-effectively and manage networked devices easily?''' said Tom Wetjen, Vice President and General Manager of Xerox's PSG Monochrome Business Unit. Mike Kohlsdorf, President and CEO of T/R Systems stated, "Through this relationship, Xerox and T/R Systems team up for the first time to offer organizations the opportunity to improve their document processes. Both of our companies share a common goal of advancing the state of the technology in the printing and publishing world to ensure that our customers can compete effectively in their industries. This dedication to customer needs is exemplified in Xerox's decision to also integrate T/R Systems' TRue Connect technology into their most popular print on demand devices.'' Xerox will offer M@estro as an advanced workflow front-end enhancement to its existing printer platforms: DocuTech(TM), DocuColor(TM) and DocumentCentre(TM). M@estro provides significant benefits by effectively managing document workflow, enabling intelligent document distribution and administering network-connected print devices. M@estro is currently available from Xerox. Document Workflow Management: Through these capabilities, organizations can create powerful rules and procedures that dictate how and when a document is processed, where a document is routed and how a document is printed and finished. Intelligent Document Distribution: Through these capabilities, organizations can create routing queues with instructions on how to distribute documents to any number of destinations including network printers, e-mail addresses, network folders, FTP sites, a MicroPress or any combination of these devices and locations. Network Device Administration: M@estro enables organizations to monitor and manage most network-connected printers throughout an organization from one location. M@estro offers quick and easy visibility into how a printer is being used and whether it is being overused or underused, is low on supplies or requires attention.
