(September 29, 2008) Spartanics Finecut Sheet Fed Laser Cutting Machine – the first and only continuous sheet fed laser cutter-- is now available to worldwide printers. Unlike earlier generations of sheet-fed laser cutters that can only feed sheets under the laser beam intermittently, the Spartanics Finecut Sheet Fed Laser Cutting Machine picks up sheets and feeds them so that the sheets are being continuously moved to the proper position under the laser beam with no stopping or starting delays between sheets.
Tom O’Hara, Spartanics President, explains, “Spartanics Finecut Sheet Fed Laser Cutting Machine outperforms every other sheet fed laser cutter by newly enabling sheets to be loaded and moved continuously. For many decades now, Spartanics’ equipment has been distinguished by superior material handling and registration capabilities and the Spartanics Finecut Sheet Fed Laser Cutting Machine is the latest equipment innovation to make use of the broad and deep Spartanics’ engineering knowledgebase on these aspects of finishing flat stock products.”
The Spartanics Finecut Sheet Feed Laser Cutting Machine will be showcased at the upcoming: September 9 - 11 Label Expo Americas 2008 Rosemont, Illinois USA 2008 Booth 1453; October 15 – 18 SGIA ’08 Atlanta, Georgia USA Booth 3013; and October 26 – 29 Graph Expo and Converting Expo 2008 Chicago, Illinois USA Booth 3452.
