TORONTO & STAMFORD, Conn.--Aug. 9, 2001--Robert G. Burton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moore Corporation Limited announced today the appointment of Sean S. Sullivan as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. In regard to this appointment, Mr. Burton stated: "When we came to Moore last December, we announced that as part of our action plan to focus the company on our core operations that we were going to make acquisitions that complemented our printing assets. In support of this key initiative I am pleased to announce that we have hired Sean Sullivan to be the catalyst behind this effort. Sean has the experience and industry knowledge to help fuel our growth initatives. He was the driving force behind our accretive acquisition efforts when I was at World Color.'' While at Engage he successfully announced and closed five acquisitions of over $2.5 billion in purchase price. Prior to joining Engage, Mr. Sullivan served as Director of Business Development for World Color Press, Inc. While at World Color, Sean successfully negotiated and delivered multiple, first year accretive printing acquisitions. Sean brings more than 10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a major focus on the printing industry. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.
