Mark Sullivan, Director of Business Development, to Step Down at CreoScitex

Press release from the issuing company

7/14/01 (WhatTheyThink.com) - Mark Sullivan, Director of Business Development at CreoScitex resigned his post yesterday. Sullivan spent 10 years with the company and was responsible for the positioning of the recently merged Creo and Scitex businesses. Sullivan said he reached a period in his life when it was time to do something new. “I have been connected with the printing industry since my first experience with a printing press at age 7. Some 33 years later -- the last 10 with Scitex and CreoScitex -- I fondly look back with so many great memories. And I know I will miss so many people, as you have become more than co-workers and associates. You have become part of an extended family.” CreoScitex has developed a well known and trusted name in the industry. Sullivan was their point man orchestrating business, marketing and public relation strategies. A survey to be released this week by WhatTheyThink.com indicates strong awareness of CreoScitex. The brand awareness survey asked printers to indicate their knowledge of several major suppliers to the industry. CreoScitex has an 83% brand awareness rating. In a statement, Sullivan said Craig Kevghas ([email protected]) of CPR Marketing and Rochelle van Halm ([email protected]) would be the contacts for questions about CreoScitex. Said Sullivan, “For the immediate future, I have no plans other than to relax and figure out what the next 33 years might hold in store.” CreoScitex is a world leader in solutions for the graphic arts industry. Core product lines include image capture systems; inkjet proofers; thermal imaging devices for films, plates and proofs; professional color and copydot scanning systems; and workflow management software. CreoScitex is an Original Equipment Manufacture supplier of on-press imaging technology and components for digital presses. CreoScitex is a division of Creo Products Inc., which trades on NASDAQ (CREO) and the TSE (CRE).
