AB DICK: MacKenzie Named VP, Newton, Vanderwiel Add Responsibilities

CHICAGO, IL -- A.B.Dick Company announced today that Scott MacKenzie has been promoted to Vice President for the Consumables Group. The company also has named Ken Newton Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer - Equipment, and David Vanderwiel has been elevated to Vice President of Information Technologies and Logistics. "These individuals have played vital roles at A.B.Dick, and we expect them to help lead us to greater levels of success," said Brian J. Longe, company President & CEO. MacKenzie joined A.B.Dick two years ago and most recently served as Director of Product Planning. Instrumental in the marketing efforts for equipment, he will now guide the sales and marketing effort for the consumables division of the company. Newton signed on with A.B.Dick three years ago. Previously, Senior Vice President for the Digital Systems Division and as Chief Marketing Officer, he will remain on the marketing side but now adds responsibility for all equipment manufacturing and engineering. Vanderwiel moves from Vice President and General Manager of Consumables. With the company 4 1/2 years, he will oversee the manufacturing and engineering efforts for the Consumables side, as well as logistics and all IT systems, communications and MIS responsibilities.
