NPSOA Renews Scholarship Program for 2025

Sterling, VA — The National Print and Sign Owners Association (NPSOA) has renewed its scholarship program for 2025.

“NPSOA is committed to investing in the industry and its future, and what better way than to support our members and their families as well as employees of member-owners pursuing a career in the print and sign industry in North America” says Nathaniel Grant, Chairman of the Board.

The Board of Directors of NPSOA has allocated up to $10,000 for 2025, matching its contribution last year.

Eligibility Criteria

The Scholarship Program is open to the following individuals pursuing a career in printing management, printing technology, or graphic design within the print and sign industry.

• Children of full-member company owners in good standing with the Association.

• Children of employees working for full-member companies of NPSOA.

• Owners and spouses of full-member companies.

• Employees of full-member companies.

• The NPSOA Scholarship Program is open to students currently enrolled or planning to enroll (full-time or part-time) in a printing or graphics program at a North American technical school, college, or university. It is also open to students currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a full or part-time business or computer science degree who plan to work in the print and sign industry.

• Students must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better.

• As part of the scholarship application, applicants must submit official transcripts along with an 800 to 1,000-word essay detailing their career goals and the reasons for seeking the scholarship. • Applicants must provide a 300-500 word written progress report, including how they spent their NPSOA scholarship funds. They may be asked to participate in a Zoom interview with the Board of Directors of NPSOA.

Selection Process

• Applications must be received on or before May 31, 2025.

• The NPSOA Board of Directors will evaluate each application carefully and award scholarships to those who best meet the criteria, with a focus on the application essay. At the Board’s sole discretion, the level of each scholarship shall also be determined.

Renewal

• Students may apply to have their scholarships renewed, provided they maintain their 3.0 GPA. Applicants must provide a 300-500 word written progress report, including how they spent their NPSOA scholarship funds. They may be asked to participate in a Zoom interview with the Board of Directors of NPSOA.
