European and international audience expands thanks to InkishTV. In a brief update, DIA Association Manager Marg Macleod reminded members that more print professionals from Europe and around the globe are now attending DIA meetings online thanks to ongoing exposure from its collaboration with world-renowned Editor in Chief of InkishTV, Morten Reitoft, and his hard-working colleagues. InkishTV (https://inkish.tv) is an online channel for and about the worldwide printing industry that incudes informative videos about people, events, companies, business strategies, the latest technology, and much more. Most recently, the partnership gave all DIA members access to free live interviews from drupa 2024 in Düsseldorf, Germany, every day of the show, in the comfort of their own homes and offices.
Two new sponsors added. The DIA also announced the recent addition of two new sponsors to its growing list, which now stands at 20. Significans Automation (Silver Sponsor) deploys highly customized workflows and end-to-end integration solutions tailored to your unique production environment. Its easily repeatable, vendor-neutral solutions drastically cut costs, reduce errors, and boost efficiency to levels never experienced before. Ultimate Tech (Bronze Sponsor) is a printing industry pioneer. From the launch of the industry’s first digital imposition technology (Impostrip in 1989) to PDF imposition, and now the centralization of imposition, nesting and finishing automation, Ultimate Tech offers the industry’s only solution that centralizes workflows, with the ability to output for a wide range of print applications, running on a vast array of printing and finishing devices.
More about the Digital Imaging Association (DIA). DIA members attend six free sessions throughout the year (mostly luncheon meetings) and the cost is included with their membership fee. Plus, they can bring as many employees as they like to each meeting. The only exceptions are the Owners Christmas Luncheon & Annual General Meeting, and the Annual Golf Tournament. Both of these events also provide an opportunity to bring their customers to a thoroughly enjoyable and affordable social gathering. The next DIA meeting will take place in-person and online on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from noon to 2 pm (EST). The topic will be “What to do When the Ministry of the Environment Knocks on Your Door!”
