A.B.Dick Company President/CEO Longe To Assume Dual Titles, Zaffino Retires

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, IL -- President and Chief Executive Officer of parent company Paragon Corporate Holdings Inc. Brian J. Longe, whom Zaffino hired as President and CEO of A.B.Dick Company last June, will replace him and assume the same title for Paragon Corporate Holdings Inc. Zaffino engineered a number of changes during his 18-month tenure at the helm of Paragon. Following a distinguished 35-year career at Kodak, he came out of retirement to join Paragon in December, 1999. Zaffino was instrumental in Paragon's acquisition and integration of Multigraphics Inc. This move helped guide A.B.Dick in its direction as a worldwide supplier and market share growth leader among small commercial and in-plant printers in the graphic arts industry. Zaffino will continue his ties to A.B.Dick Company. He will serve on the Board of Directors of Paragon and act as a consultant for various company projects. Longe was hired by Zaffino as A.B.Dick's President and CEO in June, 2000. He joined the company after serving as President of the Imaging Company at Bell & Howell Corporation, where he managed three divisions of the company. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of First Image Company, a division of First Data Corporation, after spending 11 years with Ford Motor Company. "I am honored to be replacing someone of Frank's stature in the industry and look forward to capitalizing on his successes," said Longe.
