Chevy Chase, MD—PAMA, the Photopolymer Additive Manufacturing Alliance, proudly celebrates December 3rd as 3D Printing Day! This day recognizes the power and potential of 3D printing/additive manufacturing technology, which is transforming manufacturing, healthcare, architecture, art, and more.
PAMA recognizes and supports U.S. Congressman Bill Foster (IL-11) and his colleagues, Mark Takano (CA-39), Deborah Ross (NC-2), Haley Stevens (MI-11), and Paul Tonko (NY-20), on their efforts to make 3D Printing Day a national holiday! We congratulate them all on their recent reelections to the U.S. House of Representatives. Declaring December 3rd as National 3D Printing Day would demonstrate the United States’ investment in reindustrialization, reshoring, and the future of manufacturing.
"3D printing has spurred cheaper, quicker, and more efficient production in everything from biotechnology to food production, to advanced manufacturing. 3D printing technology provides small businesses and entrepreneurs in Illinois and across the country with state-of-the-art tools to bring new products to life and remain at the forefront of innovation," said Rep. Foster.
Photopolymer technologies, including stereolithography (SLA) and digital light processing (DLP), are revolutionizing industries worldwide. From life-saving medical devices to cutting-edge aerospace components, photopolymer 3D printing continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
PAMA, a collaboration between the National Institutes of Standards and Technology and RadTech, the association for ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) technology, promotes the advancement of photopolymer 3D printing through collaboration, research, and education. Join PAMA at the hub of American industrial innovation, Detroit, MI, on May 18-21 at RadTech’s 2025 conference and tradeshow. For more information, please contact [email protected].
