Our Fort Wayne team hosted Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, presenting a check for $6,300! Each year, Millcraft aligns with a Make-A-Wish child, and this year we were honored to support Olivia and her family. Make-A-Wish OKI plays a vital role in empowering children battling critical illnesses. Cleveland, Ohio – Millcraft’s Buy & Give program has always been more than just a way to buy paper—it's a way to give back. As we prepare to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this powerful initiative next year, we are excited to announce a major development that will supercharge the impact we can make together: In 2025, Domtar, a long-standing partner of Buy & Give, will match every dollar raised, doubling the contributions to non-profits across the Midwest.

In 2024, Millcraft is proud to give away over $118,000 to local charities, a reflection of the program’s incredible success and the ongoing support from businesses across the region. Since its founding in 2015, Buy & Give has generated over $900,000 in donations, making a tangible difference in the communities Millcraft serves. With Domtar matching contributions in 2025, the opportunity for businesses to double their impact has never been more powerful.

“Almost ten years of Buy & Give have shown us what’s possible when we come together for a common cause,” said Travis Mlakar, CEO of Millcraft. “Thanks to Domtar’s generosity in matching our contributions, 2025 will be a groundbreaking year for this program and for the organizations we support. Our goal was to raise over $1 million dollars in ten years, and we are on pace to surpass this! We’re proud of what we’ve achieved, but we’re even more excited about what’s to come.”

For every carton of Buy & Give paper sold, $1 is donated to local charities that are making a difference in communities across Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Tennessee. In 2025, that amount will increase to $2, thanks to Domtar’s generosity in matching contributions dollar for dollar. This year's beneficiaries include:

Blessings in a Backpack (Louisville)
C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital/University of Michigan Health System (Detroit)
Easter Seals/The Miracle League of North Oakland (Detroit)
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati (Cincinnati)
Ohio's Hospice of Dayton (Dayton)
Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana (Fort Wayne/Indianapolis)
Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus)
Prayers from Maria (Cleveland)
Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt (Nashville)

Rob Melton, SVP, Commercial Paper & Packaging at Domtar, shared his enthusiasm for the milestone: “Domtar has been honored to support Buy & Give over the years, and in 2025, we’re taking that support to the next level by matching every contribution. Together with Millcraft, we’re doubling the impact for the charities that matter most to our communities.”

With a decade of giving behind them, Millcraft is looking ahead to the future, determined to make 2025 its most impactful year yet. Domtar’s matching contributions mark a new era for the program, and Millcraft remains committed to growing its legacy of giving back.
