Press release from the issuing company
The next Digital Imaging Association (DIA) meeting/online webinar is this Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Learn how to better access government grants and SRED (Scientific Research and Experimental Development) funds for printers, as the industry organization also launches its Sponsor’s Spotlight news update.
The Digital Imaging Association (DIA – Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is excited to announce the launch of Sponsor’s Spotlight, a targeted printing-industry news update that will arrive in the inboxes of its members beginning in November of 2024. The new monthly e-blast will keep its members up to date on the new products and services available from its sponsors, while including comments on current and future print-industry trends.
You could be leaving thousands of dollars on the table!
Are you a printer based in Canada? Are you headquartered in another country, but have branches, production facilities or print franchises in Canada? Either way, you are eligible to apply for a wide range of government grants and loans to offset the costs of your growth projects. Federal, provincial, and regional governments also offer additional funding programs for manufacturers. Plus, federal funding programs are available to all Canadian manufacturers. These grants, loans, and tax credits can support technology adoption, facility expansion, research and development, and your employee hiring and skills-training efforts.
Lead panelist for this event will be Jeff Dumart, President of Grant Synergy, a Canadian consulting firm specializing in government funding solutions. Jeff’s company helps small businesses identify and leverage government funding opportunities tailored to their unique needs and challenges. His company has extensive experience with print businesses and can complete all your paperwork and funding eligibility reports, so you don’t get ‘buried’ in bureaucratic paperwork. Jeff is a proven expert in this field and has successfully funded over 2,600 projects, while working with over 900 Canadian companies. You’ll learn what government funding programs are available, eligibility requirements, how much money you can access, and much, much more.
Guest panelist will be Ada Yiu, COO of McRae Imaging in Mississauga, Ontario – a leading North American supplier of dye-sublimination printed fabrics, custom displays, LED Lightboxes, and much more. Ada has worked with Grant Synergy and will answer questions dealing with the often-complex details of government funding, specifically for print businesses. She has over 25 years’ experience, as well as extensive global expertise in driving business growth and operational excellence.
