Avery Dennison Announces 2025 Training Schedule at SEMA 2024

Press release from the issuing company

Classes are available for all skill levels and restyling interests

MENTOR, Ohio – Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions today announced its 2025 training and certification exam schedule. The program includes Supreme Wrapping Film™ / Vehicle Color Change Training, Full Print Digital / Commercial Training, Paint Protection Film Training, Automotive Window Film Training, and Architectural Window Film Training. The Architectural Window Film Training will focus on Safety and Security Film installation. The Automotive Window Film Training will feature the upcoming Avery Dennison Encore™ Automotive Window Tint Film, launching in early 2025.

All skill levels are welcome for these classes. No previous experience is required. Based on Avery Dennison research, 60% of participants are novices and 40% have some experience. All installation tools and supplies are provided along with lunch both days. Each attendee receives a free roll of film of their choice (up to an $800+ value), which is shipped after completion of the training. Participants also receive a 33% discount off a 1-year membership to The Wrap Institute.

Wrap training can be combined with the Certified Wrap Installer (CWI) exam to provide a full coverage platform of success for any wrap shop or freelance installer. The Supreme Wrapping Film classes are also available in Spanish where indicated.

Avery Dennison will continue to offer the Advanced Supreme Wrapping Film Training, which is limited to CWI holders. This class features two trainers for more one-to-one time; a networking dinner after the first night; access to the exclusive CWI Facebook group; and a coaching call with the trainers within 30 days of the training.

Pricing for all training classes remains the same for 2025. One new addition for 2025 will be a Paint Protection Film certification exam, information and timing will be announced in the coming months.

Ninety percent of the training is hands-on, with multiple vehicles (or windows and doors) and plenty of practice material to improve cutting skills and installation techniques and learn the properties of different materials. The focus is on better results, lower installation times and higher profit. All of the trainers are widely recognized leaders who have been in their respective industries for more than 20 years.

“Unlike some other programs, our trainers are all independent business owners themselves and the training takes place in real-world shops where participants can see how a successful operation runs in real time,” said Avery Dennison training program associate Graeme McKnight. “Our trainers can relate to class attendees because they were once beginner installers too.”
