Plockmatic Group celebrated the successful opening of its new production facility in Marupe. This major expansion enhances production capacity and logistics, creates over 50 new jobs, and strengthens Latvia's role in advanced manufacturing in the Baltic region.

Thursday 17 October, Plockmatic Group proudly hosted a successful opening event for its new production facility in Marupe. The event, which welcomed an international guest list of suppliers, partners, and employees, was a testament to Plockmatic’s commitment to growth and innovation in Latvia. Guests were treated to guided tours of the state-of-the-art facility, accompanied by food, drinks, live music, and a performance art showcase. Speeches from the CEO, Plant Manager, and a representative from the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia highlighted the significance of this milestone, while a ceremonial ribbon-cutting marked the official opening of the new plant.

The new 10,000 m² production facility represents a major expansion for Plockmatic Group, increasing production capacity and operational efficiency while creating over 50 new jobs in the local economy. The strategic location near Riga Airport not only improves logistics but also positions Latvia as a key player in advanced manufacturing within the Baltic region.
