Jorda Thomas Awarded 2023 Warren Wilkins Memorial Scholarship

Toronto ON - Canadian Print Scholarships is pleased to announce Jorda Thomas, a student at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, as the recipient of the 2023 Warren Wilkins Memorial Scholarship. This prestigious award recognizes Jorda’s exceptional commitment to the graphic communications and printing industries, as well as her strong academic achievements and leadership potential.

Jorda is currently enrolled in the Graphic Communications program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and has already made a name for herself through her dedication to the craft. From her early experience at Staples’ print department to winning a gold medal at the Provincial Skills Competition for Graphic Design Technology, Jorda continues to demonstrate her passion for print and graphic design.

In May 2024, she also won a Gold Medal in the Graphics Design Technology competition at the National Skills Canada event in Quebec City while representing Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

Reflecting on her achievements, Jorda expressed her gratitude: "I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support and guidance of my friends and mentors in the graphic design industry. This achievement is a testament to their encouragement and belief in my potential, and it would not have been possible without their influence."
