Enfocus teams up with Fujifilm and Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems to bring beloved ‘mini-mes’ back to PRINTING United

Press release from the issuing company

Affordable, flexible automation expert Enfocus has revealed it is reviving its beloved ‘mini-me’ keepsakes for PRINTING United.

The mini-mes are bespoke foam board standees that will be photographed, printed, and cut live at the show. Attendees to Enfocus’ booth, C113 in the Las Vegas Convention Center will get to experience the power and versatility of Switch automation in collaboration with Enfocus partners Fujifilm and Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (Kongsberg PCS).

Attendees will have their photographs taken at the Kongsberg PCS booth (C1585), printed at the Fujifilm booth, and cut at Kongsberg, all as part of a single seamless workflow. “We can’t wait to bring back the much-loved mini-mes at PRINTING United – by popular request,” said Piet De Pauw, Head of Marketing at Enfocus. “There’s no better way to demonstrate the power of Switch automation than to give attendees something tangible they can take home with them.”

The mini-mes are just one part of an action-packed, baseball-themed Enfocus showcase at this year’s PRINTING United, with the booth themed around the Oscar-nominated, Kevin Costner-starring movie Field of Dreams. In addition to going hands-on with a range of Enfocus tools and apps, visitors will also get to turn their pictures into their very own collectable baseball cards and fridge magnets.

“In today’s print industry, it can be hard to cover all your bases,” said Piet. “It’s easy to miss the occasional customer curveball like missing eyelet holes or an incorrect bleed. Automation is the only way you can ensure every print job is a home run, and we’ll have our bases loaded on the booth to make sure visitors get to experience the benefits of our suite of automation tools for themselves.”
