Press release from the issuing company
Interlam Eco Anti-Graffiti, a cutting-edge clear PET laminating film engineered with robust anti-stick features, has also been honoured with a PRINTING United Alliance 2024 Pinnacle Product Award.
Richmond, VA: Drytac, the leading international manufacturer of self-adhesive materials for the large-format print and signage markets, is delighted to announce the launch of Interlam Eco Anti-Graffiti pressure sensitive overlaminate film in North America.
A 1.0 mil (25μ) clear PET laminating film, Interlam Eco Anti-Graffiti is designed to safeguard graphics from vandalism such as graffiti. Coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive and shielded by a siliconized PE coated paper release liner, the film ensures exceptional durability and performance in all applications.
The film’s robust anti-graffiti features ensure the easy removal of unwanted markings without damaging the substrate or printed graphics, while its strong resistance to dirt and pollutants also maintains pristine graphics over time.
Meanwhile, its anti-stick properties mean adhesives, tapes or media cannot be stuck to the surface, ensuring it remains clear of this type of vandalism, while virtually any spray paint can be easily removed without adverse effects.
As a further benefit, it is made from PET film, rather than PVC. This aligns with core sustainability goals, allowing users to offer their customers a more environmentally friendly product.
The film has a three-year lifespan and is recommended for use on flexible media substrates in both interior and exterior applications where anti-graffiti solutions are required, such as promotional displays, POP displays, architectural renderings and event signage.
“We’re delighted to be adding another material to our far-reaching range of products,” said Dennis Leblanc, Senior Business Development Manager, North America at Drytac. “Interlam Eco Anti-Graffiti is an incredibly flexible solution that is ideally suited to all manner of graphics that require protection from vandalism.”
Interlam Eco Anti-Graffiti scoops up PRINTING United Alliance 2024 Pinnacle Product Award
While the product is still new to the market, it has already been recognised for its leading features and qualities. Drytac is proud to announce that Interlam Eco Anti-Graffiti received a coveted PRINTING United Alliance 2024 Pinnacle Award for the Laminates, Adhesives, Films & Coatings category.
Open to all PRINTING United Alliance supplier members, the Pinnacle Product Award competition evaluates products that will be available for sale in 2024. A highly qualified panel of judges across the printing industry evaluated the annual contest’s 160+ entries in more than 58 categories spanning analog, digital, output, and non-output technologies.
“One of the things I like best about our competition is that it is juried, and judges are basing their decisions on objective criteria,” said Dawn Nye, Pinnacle Awards Program Manager, PRINTING United Alliance. “And, with outstanding entries like Drytac Interlam Eco Anti-Graffiti, they had their work cut out for them.”
Award winners receive a digital badge and will be showcased online at the Pinnacle Product Awards Gallery. All winning products and technologies can be accessed on the special online showcase here, with many being featured at PRINTING United Expo this September 10-12 in Las Vegas.
Drytac will be showcasing its Interlam Eco Anti-Graffiti film – alongside its other market leading products – at the upcoming PRINTING United Expo on booth SL6089. If you would like to arrange a meeting in advance of the event, please contact us.
