Free Admission for Students to the Print Solutions Conference & Expo

Alexandria, VA – September 18, 2008– Students working toward a printing related degree are being offered free admission to the 2008 Print Solutions Conference & Expo. Students will have an opportunity to attend the expo and network with more than 350 exhibitors, as well as attendees consisting of print distributors, print brokers, agency executives, graphics designers, marketers, freelancers, and more, at no charge.
"We want to give students an opportunity to network with print industry professionals, see the products and services that are on the market and take advantage of our excellent education programs," said Peter Colaianni, CAE, executive vice president for Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA). "This will be an invaluable experience for students who will soon be entering the workforce."
The Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA), who is hosting the expo in Baltimore on October 23-25, is offering a wide variety of education sessions for free. Such education sessions include: How to Specify Commercial Printing by Tom Caksa, director of commercial print at Vanguard Direct; Increase Your Label Sales by David Aronson, president of Creative Print Products; Tips and Tricks to Help You Get the Most out of Your Variable Data Campaign by James Lockman, owner of Working Words & Graphics; Empower Your Customers with On-Demand Direct Mail by Julie Pritchard, vice president of sales and marketing for Demand Bridge; Web-to-Print by Steve Enstad, co-founder of PageDNA; and more.
Along with the expo and education components, students will also be welcome to visit the Green Pavilion, featuring printers and industry suppliers who offer environmentally-friendly products and services; the Commercial Printing Pavilion, a special exhibitor showcase of over 20 commercial printers; and a live vehicle wrap demonstration given by ezprintsite.com.
