WhatTheyThink to Feature Global Perspectives in drupa Daily

Press release from the issuing company

Industry insights to be provided by respected print journalists from a variety of countries and regions around the globe

WhatTheyThink, the leading global media organization serving the printing and publishing industries, today reported that it has secured agreement from a number of highly respected print journalists from around the world to contribute their perspectives on the printing industry in their respective countries or regions. These articles will be published in the drupa Daily, being produced by the WhatTheyThink team. Articles will discuss general industry information and trends, and the size of the local industry (establishments, sales metrics, etc). Contributors will also share their thoughts on where printing firms are seeing the greatest success today, what challenges they are facing, and what are seen as the biggest potential growth areas in those markets.

“drupa is a global show,” said Eric Vessels, WhatTheyThink’s President, “and in producing the drupa Daily – the official day-by-day visitors’ guide to the world’s largest printing trade show – we believed it was critical to incorporate these insights into the publication. That’s what the Global Perspectives section of the drupa Daily will accomplish.”

These global perspectives articles will also be featured on drupa.com and WhatTheyThink.com. Many of the contributors will also be interviewed in WhatTheyThink’s professional onsite video studio during the show, with videos published on drupa.com and WhatTheyThink.com. Journalists will also have access to their articles and video interviews in case they wish to publish them in their home country or region.

“We have already lined up almost a dozen respected journalists who have agreed to participate in this program,” Vessels added. “We are still working to lock in more, so we can have as broad a coverage as possible, by region or country, of these important topics.”
